About Reel Verdicts

Reel Verdicts is a small, independent comparison resource covering UK-licensed online casino operators. It exists for one reason: there's a lot of noisy, identical-sounding marketing aimed at British casino players, and very little patient writing that treats them like adults. The aim of the site is to do the second.

What this site does

It reviews and compares a deliberately small group of UKGC-licensed casino operators, weighing them mainly on the parts of the experience you'd actually notice — mobile build, app quality, live casino, the studios behind the games, and the everyday usability of the lobby. Each operator gets a written review, a one-word verdict, and a place on the comparison table. Nothing is auto-generated and nothing is bought.

What it doesn't do

Reel Verdicts isn't a casino, isn't a regulator, and isn't owned by any of the operators it covers. It doesn't host games, take stakes, hold funds, or have any way to act on your behalf with an operator. It also doesn't list unlicensed sites, "no-KYC" loopholes, or anything targeting customers blocked by GAMSTOP — those are off-limits.

How it pays its bills

The same way most comparison sites do: affiliate commission. When you click through to an operator from this site and decide to sign up, the operator pays us a fee. That income covers the time taken to test and write the reviews. It does not buy a higher placement, doesn't unlock a better verdict, and doesn't get an operator added to the list in the first place. Who actually writes it

An editorial team based in the UK with a background in gambling journalism and product review work. We write in plain English, in our own voice, and we'd rather say something specific and slightly awkward than something smooth and meaningless.
